Our unique gear box

After thinking long about a kick mechanism for our robot, we reached the conclusion that we couldn’t use the supplied parts in the kit of parts to complete the system.
We planned and then sketched a custom gear box to answer the needs raised by our team.
The result of our hard work displayed on the next video clip:

Last Day’s problems…

As usual, nothing goes right on the last day of build season.

We were hoping to have a chance of trying out our bot today, however at 4 am our cRio was totaled. Lacking a Zaviezo to help us, our lord and saviour Yaron brought us a new one from Miscar, and took care of the old one.

Safety Tips

Monday, February 22nd, 2010
  • If you’re working with power tools, you MUST wear safety goggles and safety gloves!
  • Do NOT leave nails or sharp parts on the floor.
  • Always wear closed shoes in our working area.
  • If you have long hair, while working remember to pull your hair up.
  • If there is a broken or not working tool, DO NOT use it.
  • While working with electronics, the working area should be free of Aluminum chips and Liquids.
  • Always listen to your coach and safety captain.
  • There must be verbal coordination between the group members, while working on the robot.
  • Think twice before you DO!!
